Welcome

Welcome to my first website - my passion is wood, plain and simple.

I was born in Southampton, Hampshire UK in the 1950's and grew up surrounded by woodlands and forests with The New Forest being close to my doorstep.

I started woodturning in 2010 so am relatively new to the craft, however, being now retired I am keen to dedicate my free time to the joy and the challenges of improving my skills and knowledge base.

I have attended several Arts and Craft Fayres as an exhibitor and found the opportunity to display my work and talk about all things wood was just irresistable.

Hopefully my website will allow you an insight into my workshop, with information about my projects and my development as a crafts-person.

Being my first attempt I am sure there will be several mistakes or other issues. Please feel free to feed back to me your comments and suggestions on how I may improve.

Visitor's notice

Having sold a comforting amount of my work I now realise how rewarding it is to have a happy customer freely praising my work.

Hence my simple gauge to success is how many people I can make happy!!

Whilst I can happily produce a standard range of work, I get the most satisfaction from the 'special/customised' requests from customers who require something more unique and meaningful to them. So please do ask me if you require something outside of my standard range on display - you never know you may be very pleased with the results!!
